Elizabeth Hopkins // CHICAGO, IL

My name is Elizabeth Hopkins (but everyone calls me Eliz!). I grew up on a farm near Walnut Grove, MN, and I got my undergraduate degree from the University of South Dakota in Digital & Film Photography,

I took my very first Photography class in high school with my Art teacher, and I fell in love with it. Throughout my time at USD, my passion for photography has continued to grow, as has my love for Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator, and most of all, film.

Choosing a photographer can be a confusing and awkward process, so let's take a moment to get to know each other a little better!

I just got married to my best friend and adventure buddy, Kaden, this last summer, in August of 2025! He got his degree in Acting, and we are definitely a couple of theater kids. Time for some fast facts: I have a cat named Rickets (it's a long story, but I would love to tell you about it!), I love mushrooms on my pizza, mixing all the sodas at a restaurant, and learning a new hobby! Those include, but are not limited to, crocheting, knitting, reading, painting, quilting, collecting tattoos, and being a plant mom!

I'm here to capture some of the most exciting moments of your life! I would be honored to capture your special moments from graduation to engagements! I love nothing more than taking your goofy ideas and bringing them to life. (AKA the wizard photos you may see throughout this website) I give energy, authenticity, and comfort in every session. No matter where the moment takes us, I'm always up for an adventure!

I love hearing your story, from falling in love to caps and gowns. I am dedicated to ensuring you have stunning photos and a fantastic experience. My goal isn't just to take good pictures; it's to give you an experience that's fun, comfortable, and tailored to you, leaving you with images that truly reflect your personality and story.
